What Is Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an alternative medical practice that involves stimulating certain points (known as acupuncture points) on the body, most often with a needle which penetrates the skin, in order to alleviate pain, or to treat various health conditions.
Traditional acupuncture is a Chinese medical practice, which states that the healthy functioning of the body is governed by the harmonious flow of a dynamic energy, known as ‘Qi’ (pronounced chie). When this flow of energy is impaired by pathogenic factors influencing the body internally and externally, the body is compromised and illness occurs.
As a standalone treatment or as a compliment to other treatments, acupuncture provides an effective solution for a wide range conditions.
Traditional Acupuncture is a scientifically and medically approved treatment in modern world. |
